Supreme Court Building, Washington DC: photo by Malcolm Aslett
A rainy day in Washington Town. Here is where the Supreme Court of Justice for the United States sits. I think. All I did was walk past it and take photographs so my knowledge of the actual edifice is limited. It took me a lot of time making this pick and there is a lot of conflicting information removed as well as added. The building itself is your standard 'Let's make it look like a Greek temple' construction. It must have been a breeze being an architect in the neo classical period. It is certainly appropriate. The Greeks considered themselves democratic and lived comfortably keeping slaves. Sounds familar. Hence the wonky shapes. There is all that semiotic stuff that goes into it if you have come across it. Is that metonymic or analogical code? Condensed or displaced? Whatever the case, wonk shapes is supposed to infer wonky thinking. It's not rocket science, otherwise Elon Musk would be making money from it.
